exit – End the terminal session

exit command

The exit command closes your current terminal. Let’s look at our example. We are working with two terminals and want to close one of them.

  1. Terminal-1.
  2. Terminal-2.
  3. Enter exit command at the Terminal-2.

It closes the Terminal-2, because we entered exit command at the Terminal-2.

If you have only one Terminal, it closes your terminal.
