My name is Ramona and I will guide you through this Impress course. Since my school days, I have regularly created and presented presentations. In my school and in my course of study, it was common for us to give several presentations per school year or semester. Over the years, I’ve created dozens of presentations, and since my classmates have also given dozens of presentations, I’ve also listened to tons of presentations. Therefore, I have not only gained a lot of practical experience myself, but also experience as a listener.
During my school years, I decided that I didn’t want to waste the time of my classmates and teachers with a boring presentation.
I thought to myself at the time:
“If they’re going to sit here, give me their time and listen, then at least they should get to see something visually appealing and not just text upon text on keywords and more text.”
This was my start into the creative world of presentations and I am happy to introduce you to this world!

Procedure and objectives of the course
This course is dedicated to creating presentations using the freely accessible program LibreOffice Impress.
Over the course of the course, I will introduce you to the intricacies and possibilities of Impress so that you can create a more engaging and engaging presentation than 80% of my classmates at the time 😉
And if you use this knowledge skillfully, then you will stand out positively in any presentation.
In this course you will learn how to design appealing slides, how to use animations and the slide master and you will get all kinds of tips and tricks along the way.
After each lesson, there is a small quiz to put what you have learned to the test. The best thing to do is to choose any topic for which you want to create a presentation. While you’re working on this course, you’ll be able to create your own presentation at the same time.
In the course you will receive all kinds of inspiration and suggestions. You are welcome to use my templates as a guide or get creative yourself and create something completely new. There are no limits to your creativity in this course. And I’m looking forward to your creative results.
At the end of the course, you can be a little “presentation professional” yourself with your first impressive presentation.
