ABIOLA Course Exam

For the first three courses, ABIOLA offers the opportunity to check the expertise you have learned and, if successful, to receive a corresponding certificate. This is done with a so-called course exam.

Bonuses for successful Exams

Currently, about 130 African schools are affiliated with the ABIOLA online Academy. The students of these schools receive a bonus for passing the exam exam. In this blog post, we present the different products in more detail.

This ABIOLA Cap is awarded to every student of the affiliated schools for the first achievement of an exam. This one-time gift will not count as a credit. The student may also choose another bonus according to the credit value for the certificate achieved.

The headlamp can also be used in the lowest brightness for reading in the dark. Charging is done via USB-C port. There is no USB port available for charging other devices such as smartphone. The headlamp is therefore only intended for lighting.

ABIOLA has had a larger BATTERY of 2000 mAh installed. This results in significantly longer lighting times than specified by the manufacturer. This has two advantages:
1. The lamps don’t need to be charged as often.
2. The focus of the headlamps is when used for reading in the dark.

Tested burn time:

In each operating mode, the luminosity decreases in the course of operation. Therefore, we name two states. On the one hand, the time until the luminosity becomes weaker and on the other hand, the time when the light goes out.

Tips:
1. For reading, it is comfortable to wear the lamp like a collar. The spotlight or ribbon light can be used for this purpose.
2. Each light can be turned on and off by hand movement without contact

The ABIOLA headlamp can be charged with approx. 1.5 W. In the mySolar course, you have certainly learned how to convert the charging time of the battery. In this case, a current flows according to the power formula P = U * I = I = P / U = 1.5 / 5V = 0.3 A or 300 mA.
If we then divide the capacity of 2000 mAh by the current of 300 mA, this results in a charging time of about 6-7 hours.

For this reason, we chose a solar panel with 5W. Due to the long burn time of the headlamp, it doesn’t matter much whether the battery is fully charged every time. For this reason, it is better to charge them regularly without the battery being completely discharged.

ABIOLA also supplies a 2m long USB extension with each 5W solar panel. After all, you don’t want to put your headlamp lithium battery in the sun for 6 hours to charge 🙂

ABIOLA has already handed over 1000 notebooks to active students in the first year after production. The erasable pens are a great enrichment in everyday life. The set “Pad/Pens” were very gratefully accepted by students and teachers. In the second year 2026, another 1250 sets of “Pad/Pens” are on their way to the African countries of Ghana, Benin, Nigeria and Cameroon.

ABIOLA has handed over an additional 500 refills for the pens to the above-mentioned countries. The aim is to ensure that every student can exchange an empty mine for a new mine. He brings his empty pen to school. The school replaces the mine, destroys the old mine and disposes of it properly.

We don’t throw away valuable pens just because they’re empty. For the sake of our environment.
