Animations and slide transitions
For this presentation, we’re going to do a full animation of the slides. However, we only use slide transitions for the double-page spread. If you want more slide transitions, add them as you like.
It may be that your school computer is overloaded with the many animations.
Customize the animations according to your computer’s capabilities.

We start on the second slide (outline): Mark the circles with the numbers and the line in the middle and add them as animations via “Add”. Select “Fly In” – “from left”. Now highlight each line and select “Wipe” as the animation. Pay attention to the animation direction, which should always go away from the circle to the box. Now add the text box as an animation and select “Fly In” and let it fly in from below or above depending on its position. Also, select “After Previous”. Repeat for all lines and boxes.
On slide 3 (Climate Change), highlight the transparent background and graph and add it as an animation. Select “Fly In” – “from left”. Now mark the transparent box on the right and the line plus heading and add it as “Fly In” – “from right”. Now select the circles with icon one by one and let them fly in one by one via “Fly In” – “from bottom”.
On slide 4 (Causes) we start on the right side. Select the hexagon, icon and transparent box and select “Fly In” – “from right” again. Now you can select the line and set it to “Wipe” – “from top”. Now select all four boxes and click on “Fly In” – “from bottom” | “After previous”.
Now highlight the outer circle and the corresponding legend. Select “Fly In” – “from bottom” for both. Repeat the process for the dotted circle.
On slide 6 (Consequences) we mark each unit with hexagon, icon and transparent text box and let them fly in together via “Fly In” – “from bottom”.
On slide 8 (What can we do) we mark the text and the line (without question marks!) and let it fly in from the left (“Fly In” – “from left”). The question mark in his own text box is flown in “after previous” with “Fly In” – “from bottom”.
For slide 9 (What can we do 2) we now switch to the “Slide Transition” and select “Push” – “Right to left”. Now, as with slide 6, we have each unit flown in via “Fly In” – “from bottom”. The heading “Project Examples” is flown in from the right and the boxes and their contents from below or also from the right.
Finally, we animate “Are there any questions?” and the corresponding line on slide 10 (Final Slide).
Mark the two superimposed texts and the line and add them, let them fly in from the right via “Fly In”.
Presentation with animations
With presentation programs like Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote, you can use a lot more animations without overloading the system. But is that always necessary?
Fully animated
Here you can find the video of the fully animated presentation as indicated above.

Fewer animations
In this video, the animations are drastically reduced and only a few central points are used.

We believe that when it comes to your talks, it’s not crucial that your slides are perfectly animated. Much more important are the strategic tips and an appealing design, as described in the course.
Also, have fun and be creative when creating your presentation, because joy is the best way to learn 🙂
Then you will also have the best prerequisites to present your presentation later in a relaxed and confident manner.
In the ABIOLA Cloud you will also find the presentations to test and expand. Here >>
