Depression

In the first part on animations, you have already learned the basic procedure.
Animations are a great way to make a presentation more interactive and exciting. In addition to text, you can also animate icons, shapes, and images.

You can animate everything in one presentation.
However, that doesn’t mean you should.

The crashing computer

However, since it’s an incredibly terrific tool, I’d like to show you a few more features.

World Map with Animated Places

Add a world map to your slide.
Fill the world map with the specific locations. To do this, you can use dots with lines. If the design consists of multiple objects, be sure to group them together. Add the name of the place.

Now go to the animation menu. Click on the first location point (or grouped object) and add it as an animation using the “+”. For the animation, select “Swipe” – “From the Left”.

Now click on the name of the place. Add it using the “+” function as well. Also, select “Swipe” – “from the left”. Under Start, select “with previous.” Repeat this process for the other locations.

Timeline

Start by creating the circles and the lines in between. Group the circles and lines.
Go to the animation page and select “Swipe” – “from the left”. Increase the duration to about 3 seconds.

Now add the lines up and down with the text. Again, group the respective lines with the appropriate text. Now you can add the individual groupings via “Swipe” – “from the bottom / from the top”.

Icon Animation

In the video on the left you can see one of the many possibilities of an icon animation (flatiocon.com).

Go back to your existing card design. Download an airplane icon of your choice and place it in the first position. In this case, it’s “Location 3”.
Add the icon with “+” as an animation. Select “Appearance” – “Emergency braking” addition.
Click on the icon again and click on “+” to add another animation.

For the second animation, select “Animation Paths” – “Freehand Line”. Now click on “Location 3” and draw a line to “Location 2”. Under Start, select “After Previous”, set the duration and delay to 1.50 sec.
