If an operating system has been running for some time or has recently been updated, it may suffer some performance issues, which can often be remedeed by simply restarting your computer. You yourself may sometimes notice that the operating system is working slower than usual or does no longer respond correctly. That is why we want to show you now, how to restart your computer from within the user interface.
- 1. Open the Raspberry Pi main menu.
- 2. Press Shut Down.
- 3. Press Restart.
Tip: If you have a Raspberry Pi from ABIOLA, you can also use the button located above the LAN port on the computer itself. It has three different options:
Pressing the button once will start up the computer
Double pressing the button will reboot the computer
Pressing the button for 3 seconds will automatically shutdown the computer
